The CADALFEST events take place between October 2022 and February 2023. More information about each event can be found via the tiles on the main CADALFEST page, but a timeline of events is provided below.

On the 14th October, Saraswathi D performs her one-woman play Santimmi Ramayna at New Art Exchange (Nottingham, UK), which re-tells the epic Ramayana from a Dalit feminist perspective, from the world view of Dalit women, that is sympathetic to the female characters.

On the 15th October, acclaimed poets Jacinta Kerketta, Jameela Nishat, Kalyani Thakur, and Muknakudu Chinnaswammy read from their work at New Art Exchange (Nottingham, UK).

On the 20th October, artists Subash Thebe Limbu and Osheen Siva discuss Adivasi and Dalit Futurism online at Bonington Gallery through the Formations series.

On the 27th October, writer Gogu Shyamala discusses her work online at Bonington Gallery through the Formations series.

On the 1st November in Kolar (Karnataka), Adima Cultural Centre brings together five performers and five poets for the first event of its kind.

On the 6th November in Ranchi (Jharkhand), JBSS AKHRA hosts a multilingual Adivasi poetry performance.

On 12th November, Osheen Siva hosts an artist workshop in Goa.

On the 24th November, Subash Thebe Limbu’s film Ningaswum is screened by the Bonington Gallery for an online Formations event.

On the 27th November at Lamakan in Hyderabad (Telangana), Telegu poet Joopaka Subhadra and Jameela Nishat read their poetry alongside performances by Kudali theatre group and composer Nirvan.

CADALFEST will come to Auroville (Tamil Nadu) with a festival at Adishakti on the 16th-20th December.

In February, Kalyani Thakur comes to Nottingham for an event at New Art Exchange.
